How it works

1. Load the photo you need mirrored

Pick your JPG, PNG, or WebP file from your phone or computer by tapping to browse, paste it straight in from your clipboard, or drag it onto the box above. This suits mirrored selfies where text or watches appear backward, scanned images that came out reversed by accident, and design graphics you want to duplicate as a mirror image for a symmetric layout. The photo loads and displays exactly as saved, entirely on your device, and stays there rather than being sent off anywhere at all before you decide whether to flip it.

2. Choose the direction

The tool starts on Original so the staged image is unchanged. Choose Horizontal to mirror left to right or Vertical to mirror top to bottom. Each button updates the preview immediately, and Original restores the unflipped view without a separate Apply click.

3. Download the flipped image

Once the preview looks correct, hit Download to save the mirrored version to your device. The flip is applied directly to the image's pixels, so text that was backward now reads correctly, and the result displays the same way in every app, browser, and printer rather than depending on some special flag only certain software understands. Frequently asked questions

Why does text in my selfie look backward?
Front-facing phone cameras typically mirror the preview to match what you'd see in a real mirror, and some phones save the photo that way too, reversing any text or asymmetric detail.
How do I un-mirror a selfie?
Add the selfie and choose Horizontal. That flips it left to right, which undoes the mirroring a front camera applied, so writing on a shirt or a sign reads the right way round again. If it looked better before, Original puts it back.
Can I flip vertically instead of horizontally?
Yes — choose Vertical. Bear in mind that a vertical flip is not the same as turning a photo 180 degrees: the flip mirrors top to bottom and leaves any text reversed, while a 180 degree turn only puts the photo upside down. Use Rotate Image if a turn is what you need.
Does flipping affect image quality?
No. Flipping only rearranges existing pixels; it doesn't recompress or blur anything, so there's no quality loss beyond the normal save step.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere during flipping?
