About Sqeeezy

A small collection of single-purpose image tools that do one job well, run entirely in your browser, and cost nothing to use.

What this site is

Sqeeezy is a set of focused, single-purpose image tools — compressors, format converters, a resizer, and a crop-and-rotate toolkit that also handles flipping, circle crops, square crops, and passport photos. Each tool is built around one task instead of trying to be a full photo editor, so you can land on the right page, drop in a photo, and get a usable result in a few seconds without hunting through menus.

How your photos are handled

Every tool on this site processes images locally, inside your own browser. When you drop in or select a photo, the JavaScript running on the page decodes it, applies the requested operation — compressing, converting, resizing, cropping, rotating, or flipping — using the browser's own canvas and image-decoding APIs, and hands the result straight back to you as a download. At no point is the original file, or the edited version, sent to a server. That is true whether you are working with a single photo or a batch of dozens at once; batches are packaged into a single ZIP file for download, still without any of the source images ever leaving your device. There is no account system and nothing to sign in to, because there is no server-side component that needs to know who you are or store what you upload.

Who it's for

This site is aimed at anyone who needs a quick, one-off image edit and doesn't want to install an app, create an account, or figure out a heavyweight editor for a thirty-second task — shrinking a photo to fit an email attachment limit or a form's file-size cap, converting an iPhone HEIC photo into a JPG that opens everywhere, resizing an image for a specific social platform, or cropping a passport-style photo to the right ratio. If you came here from a search for a specific problem like "compress image to 100kb" or "heic to jpg," that tool is meant to solve exactly that problem and nothing more.

How the site supports itself

Running and maintaining these tools costs money even though processing happens on your device rather than on a server, so this site is supported by advertising. Ads may appear alongside the tools, but they don't change how your images are handled — processing still happens entirely in your browser, and no image data is ever collected, uploaded, or shared as part of showing those ads. See the privacy page for details on how advertising and any analytics on this site work.
