Reducing a folder of photos one at a time wastes clicks. Bulk Image Compressor applies one quality or target-size setting to as many as 50 pictures in a single run, choosing a sensible output format for each source. The work happens locally in your browser, so the batch never needs to be uploaded to a server.

How it works

1. Choose up to 50 images

Select several JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, HEIF, or GIF files together, or drag the selection onto the tool. Mixed formats can be processed in the same batch, and the files stay on your device throughout.

2. Use one setting for the batch

The default quality brings file sizes down without making ordinary photos look noticeably worse. Move the Quality slider to pick a different level, or switch to Target size and give the batch a limit in kilobytes when every file has to come in under the same ceiling; that setting is then applied independently to each photo.

3. Download one ZIP

After processing, the tool shows a thumbnail for every result and combines the files into one ZIP download. Unzip it on your device to get all of the compressed images with distinct, familiar filenames.

How many images can I compress at once?
You can process up to 50 images in one batch. The limit keeps memory use predictable on phones and laptops because every image is processed locally in your browser.
Can I make the photos smaller in dimensions too?
Not here — this tool works on file size and leaves width and height alone, apart from a photo that has to be scaled down to reach a target size in kilobytes or to be processed safely at all; the result says so when that happens. When the point is to give a whole folder the same dimensions, use the bulk image resizer instead.
Can one batch contain different image formats?
Yes. A single batch can mix JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, HEIC, HEIF, and GIF inputs. The compressor handles each file according to its own format.
Will my images be uploaded?
No. Decoding, compression, preview generation, and ZIP creation all happen in your browser on your device.
How do I save all of the results?
The finished batch downloads as one ZIP file, so you do not need to click a separate download button for every image.
